How I Work With You

I don't sell hours.
I find where flow has stopped and fix it.

Not a framework I install off the shelf, EOS, Traction, Scaling Up or anything like them. Not a report you're left to implement yourself. I diagnose the business, then I build the fix alongside you.

From frazzled to flow to freedom.
How I actually work

I am a catalyst for movement, not a consultant.

I'm not interested in spending three months studying your business and leaving you with a 174-slide presentation explaining what you should now go and do. If something can be fixed, I fix it. If a workflow needs redesigning, I redesign it, and where the fix needs a specialist I don't happen to be, I bring one in from my own network rather than learning the skill on your time. If a piece of technology could quietly remove a manual task, I will probably become incapable of ignoring it.

There will be documentation where documentation is useful: a process map, a decision log, a dashboard. What we don't produce is a beautiful description of how the business could work differently, filed away and never built.

I am here to create movement.

I look for one of five patterns.

Not every stuck business is stuck because of the founder. Sometimes it is. Often it isn't: a key person holds knowledge nobody else has, a handoff between two teams quietly fails, a customer journey loses people somewhere you can't see. I look at the whole ecosystem before I decide where the problem actually sits.

The five ways a business breaks: blockage, leakage, rough terrain, flooding, stagnation
A dam, everything stops at one point
A dam

Something is blocked.

Decisions might all funnel through one person. Your team may be constantly waiting. Processes might exist largely in people's heads. Sometimes that person is you. Sometimes it isn't.

A leak, value escaping before it becomes revenue
A leak

Money, time or opportunity is leaking.

A lead form that doesn't work. Prospects who go quiet after real interest, or clients who complete one project and never come back, because nothing's designed to follow up. A handoff between two teams that's broken. Someone spending six hours a week manually doing something that could be automated. Businesses leak value in a hundred tiny ways.

A flood, too much volume for the system to hold
A flood

Growth is outpacing and flooding systems.

Sales increase. The team grows. Volumes go up. But the systems and ways of working underneath haven't kept pace, and success starts to feel like chaos.

Stagnation, still water with no movement
Stagnation

Nothing's broken. Nothing's moving either.

You've stopped growing, changing or noticing what's changed around you. There's almost always something new sitting inside the business: a customer segment nobody's considered, an offer nobody's packaged yet, or an opportunity nobody's spotted.

Rapids

Something's not landing, and everything downstream gets harder.

Often it's positioning: selling to people who need convincing, instead of people who are already looking for exactly this. Sometimes it's tools that don't talk to each other, or a team or partner dynamic where tension gets managed rather than resolved. Occasionally the wider market gets harder, a new competitor, a tighter economy, and that's real too, though rarely the whole story. I bring in specialists where the fix sits outside my own lane: HR for team dynamics, developers for systems. What doesn't change is the diagnosis: something in how the business meets the world isn't working, and it's costing more effort than it should.

First, I diagnose. Then I build for flow.

1

Diagnose

I get inside the business and look at what's actually happening: where work slows down, where money disappears, where information stops flowing, where you're involved more than you need to be. And, importantly: which problem, if we solved it, would make the biggest difference.

2

Prioritise

I won't promise to change your entire business in three months, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. Instead, we work on one meaningful constraint at a time, because fixing the right thing changes an extraordinary amount elsewhere in the system.

3

Redesign

Depending on what we find, that might mean rebuilding decision systems (who decides what, and how), knowledge systems (what's known, and where it lives), quality systems (how the standard holds without you), or growth systems (how revenue compounds instead of stalling). There's no set toolkit I force onto a business. The problem determines the solution.

4

Build

This is where I differ most from traditional consulting. If something can be automated, we automate it. If we need specialist expertise I don't have, I bring in people who do. AI runs through the build throughout, not as a feature I'm selling you but as the infrastructure that makes moving this fast possible.

Find the right amount of intervention, not the longest engagement.

I'm more interested in finding what a business actually needs than in selling the biggest package. Pricing gets scoped once I know what's broken. A dam is a different job to a flood. Start with a Flow Call and we'll work out which of these fits.

The AI Workflow Clarity Session

Optimise your own use of AI, not your whole team's.

A 90-minute working session for founders who find AI intimidating rather than exciting, whatever your level of tech comfort. We audit where your own time is actually going, then I hand you two or three tools matched to how you personally work, not a generic "best AI tools" list. You leave with a 30-day plan and a full recording of the session to work from afterwards.

The Team AI & Automation Session

Built for founders who are the bottleneck for their team's AI adoption.

A two-hour working session, made for founders who want to roll AI and automation out across a team, without every question routing back through them. We audit where your team's time is actually going, then I hand you two or three specific tools matched to your business and how you actually work, not a hypothetical stack you're left to research alone. You leave with a 30-day plan for rolling them out in order, and a full recording of the session to work from afterwards.

The Business Flow Intensive

One day. One business. Find the constraint.

For when you know something isn't working as it should, but you're not sure where the real problem is. We spend a day getting underneath what's actually happening, not what the process document from three years ago claims happens. You leave with what I think is really going on, what matters most, and what I'd do first.

The 6-Month Business FLOW Programme

Deeper change for a business ready for its next stage.

For when the opportunity is bigger, the systems are more interconnected, or the change needs longer to properly embed. We might spend six months redesigning one major area of the business, or solve one significant constraint, see what that opens up, and move deliberately onto the next.

Who I work best with.

My best clients are founders and business owners with a small team, typically two to twenty people, trading for three years or more, in any service industry. Something in the business feels stuck, inefficient or unnecessarily complicated. Sales have slowed. Systems don't talk to each other. Opportunities are slipping through the cracks somewhere you can't quite see yet.

You're probably a good fit if

  • Entrepreneurial. You like building things.
  • Practical. You care more about what works than what sounds clever.
  • Decisive. When we find something that needs changing, you're capable of making the call and moving.
  • Self-aware. You know you might occasionally be contributing to the problem, and you're fine with that.
  • Able to invest in implementation. There's little point discovering the business needs a new system if there's no appetite or budget to build it.
  • Open to feedback. You want the truth about what's not working, and you're looking for a solution, not reassurance.

I'm probably not for you if

  • You're still working out whether your idea could become a business.
  • You're pre-revenue, or a solo founder whose biggest challenge is finding your first clients. The AI Workflow Clarity Session may still be worth a look, but the bigger programmes won't be, yet.
  • You want someone to tell you that everything you're currently doing is brilliant.
  • You're not actually ready to change anything.

There's nothing wrong with any of that. I'm just not the right person for it at this stage.

Two ways in.
